School Internship First week 17 to 23

  Our first phase of teaching practice started by following COVID protocol. On 17 th we started our class and on 23 we celebrated  Christmas celebration at school . For that we bought a cake and we celebrated there. We enjoyed each and every moment there. I got the class 9 th and my head is neethu teacher. She gave proper advice to handle the class. I take the portion jungle air crash . On every day we got opportunity to serve mid day meal and we activity involved in each part of school programes so HM liked us and she always gave good advice to each one of us.

Third day of teaching practice

  On the third day of teaching practice I got the class 9 B . They were very good students .I sincerely thankful to neethu teacher for the class . She gave me proper advice how to handle the class and correct my mistakes. 

Workshop on stress management

Today was a special day for us because we all got a best opportunity to attend a lifeskill class which was handled by Sujithra Syam , Student Councellor( Psychologist). The topic was based on Stress Management. She wonderfully handled the class. She taught us about stress, the causes of stress, the negative outcomes of stress,the types of ways. And also she described various ways how we can reduce stress.The class session also had some sort of activities which helps us to identify our inner potentials .The venue of this workshop was on the Google meet platform at 7:00 m on 19 th December.

 

2 nd day of teaching practice

 We enjoyed our 2 day of teaching practice . We the 13 trainees equally active in taking classes. Teachers were very cooperative and we like teaching . ❤️❤️🥰 

 

GHSS chithara teaching practice

This is the new building for UP and  HS . Along with that staffroom  were also there and in each block toilet facilities for both girls and boys were there.

 As part of BEd training our first phase of teaching practice is going to start today . I got the portion from Neethu teacher . She game me the class 9 . Due to COVID class were conducted according to shift based. So upto afternoon we only got opportunity to teach them . Any way  Teaching is a nice experience and I started enjoying that. 🥰

Christmas is celebrated on December 25 and is both a sacred religious holiday and a worldwide cultural and commercial phenomenon. For two millennia, people around the world have been observing it with traditions and practices that are both religious and secular in nature. Christians celebrate Christmas Day as the anniversary of the birth of Jesus of Nazareth, a spiritual leader whose teachings form the basis of their religion. Popular customs include exchanging gifts, decorating Christmas trees, attending church, sharing meals with family and friends and, of course, waiting for Santa Claus to arrive.

 Like everywhere our college also celebrated Christmas on 16 /12/2021. Our first year and us ( second years) collaboratively conducted the programme. We planned a dress code our colour code is red and white. We also conducted several programmes such as making pulkkodu , it is a competition between first year and second year student s. And Santa claus were there . First year students dance performance where there. They also sang a song . We the second years also actively y in programmes. Then cake cutting ceremony for that our respected Deepthi teacher and other teachers were came and the cut cakes . All total there are 3 cakes  we celebrated that day very cheerfully and we take photographs .Later winners were decided and we the second years won in pulkoodu making competition. 

 In that auspicious occassion as part of sahithyolsavam the second year students got gifts trophy and certificates . And the programme coordinator Haleema teacher also got trophy for the best programme coordinator and Deepthi teacher  handover the trophy.  

At last we the second year students were already selected Christmas friend . On that day we exchange the gift to our friend . My Christmas friend is Kavya . I bought a gift for me . She likes that very much I am soo happy😊

 

2 nd year teaching practice

 Teaching practice is an integral component of teacher training. It grants student teachers experience in the actual teaching and learning environment. We explore the experiences of student teachers In this article we aim to establish the ways in which these experiences influence the student teachers' perception of the teaching profession. We established that, despite the positive experiences during teaching practice, student teachers experienced challenges which affected their percep­tion of the teaching profession. Based on the findings of this study, measures are suggested on how to improve teaching practice in order to have a positive influence on the student teachers' perception of, and attitude towards, the tea­ching profession.
