SUPW craft work

 Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW) is a "purposive productive work and services related to the needs of the child and the community, which will be proved meaningful to the learner. Such work must not be performed mechanically but must include planning, analysis and detailed preparation, at every stage so that it is educational in essence. Adoption of improved tools and materials, where available and the adoption of modern techniques will lead to an appreciation of the needs of a progressive society based on technology."

 Students learn to work as a team and to work with skill and deftness. It was introduced in 1978, by the Ministry of Education to promote Gandhian values and educational ideas of Mahatma Gandhi.In addition to developing individual skills, SUPW aims to help develop among the students the habit to work as a community, encourage community thinking, increase awareness of scientific advancements and develop a scientific outlook. The training acquired in the classroom is expected to help students to solve day-to-day problems of the community.

 Based on vocational and work educational activities we are provided with a craft class by our teacher Mrs Haleema   . We are informed to bring colour paper , waste cloths , paper straw , ribbon , thread , thin rod , green tape , gum and other needed items to the class and teacher show how to make flowers and pen stand with straw and we made it in the class room , and we also practiced to make other items . That increased our enthusiasm and interest in doing work , teacher help us a lot to promote our talent.

International women's day celebration

  As part of the BEd , we the teacher trainee conducted a programme based on INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY. we named it as pradhvi 2k21 . Various programmes were organized as part of this talks, video presentation , games were conducted. 

Inauguration ceremony was there and after that a dance performance of  Remyasree , Sruthi  and Fathima , that was mesmerising that added the beauty of the programme.

Kavya gave a welcome speech and sonia also talk about women's day . 

Women are strong, powerful and invincible. With thousands of mantras encouraging women's existence every day, a special day is indeed a necessity to celebrate women's achievements in all aspects of life. Whether she's a teacher, homemaker, economist, engineer or pioneer, women have been making the world a better place with their infinite strength, determination and belief. With power enough to shatter the shackles of patriarchy, women are rising above societal hurdles every single day, making them a stronger force to reckon with, in modern times. This International Women's Day, we are celebrating and rejoicing the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women all over the world. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. As all women come together, significant activity is witnessed worldwide to celebrate women's achievements or rally for women's equality.Every year, March 8 is celebrated as International Women’s Day. This year, the goal is to create a gender-equal world. It is about celebrating a woman’s success and raising awareness against bias.

AURORA2k21 WORLD WILDLIFE DAY AND PI DAY CELEBRATION.

 On March 4 , the students of Natural science, Physical science and Mathematics organized subject association programme ,they named it as 'AURORA2k21' . As usual inauguration ceremony was conducted and done by physical science head Mrs Saleena and other teachers were accompanied with her. Started with prayer and teachers talk about the importance of science and maths and several programs were conducted and power point presentation was also there . Every students actively participated in that programs . I also participated in all the programmes they conducted. That was a great day . Along with that 2 varieties of cake were there it looks attractive . One represent pie and other for physical science and Natural science. 

 Then they plant a sapling inorder to honour that day that was coordinated by Aswathy teacher .

 Then as part of that exibition were conducted by them .  That include varieties of  herbs , shrubs etc that were exciting and create curiosity in us . In one class room they shows the posters , charts , athar deal with human body , it's parts , skeleton system were also there .

 Mathematical   experimenting areas were also there in that exibition.that was really nice . We all participated in that and we won in some of them we got sweet as gift .
